4,000 CFM custom AHU unit replacement done in a hospital in Weschester, NY. Old AHU unit was disassembled and removed from mechanical room and new (3) section air handler unit was assembled and installed in place of the old unit.
Downtime: 12 hours.
New unit is modular in design and contains three sections: Fan section, chilled water coil – steam humidifier – sloping drain pan section, and filter section.

All sections were preassembled at site before downtime began.
Air Handle Unit uses new 100% free maintenance Direct Drive EC technology.
A small digital controller was installed next to the unit to control and to monitor the fans in the Air Handle Unit.
